Adding search terms in Rank Math
Tell Rank Math which search a page should show up for, and act on its checks.
Rank Math is the plugin that looks after how your pages appear in Google. Each page can have one main search term: the words a customer would type to find it. This guide sets that term and works through the checks Rank Math gives you.
Open the page you want to edit
Go to Pages, hover over the page and click Edit.
Open the Rank Math panel
Click the Rank Math score at the top right of the editor, next to the Update button. A panel opens on the right.
Type your search term
In Focus Keyword, type the words a customer would search for, such as “bricklayer Dublin”, and press Enter.
Work through the red items
Rank Math lists checks under Basic SEO. Click each red item to see what it wants, usually the term in the title or the first paragraph.
Update the page
Click Update. Google picks up the change the next time it visits, usually within a few days.
