Updating plugins safely
When to update, in what order, and how to undo it if something breaks.
Take a backup first
Run a backup in UpdraftPlus before any update. See the backups guide.
Update one plugin at a time
Go to Dashboard → Updates, tick one plugin and click Update. Check the site, then do the next.
